Professor Fillmore's work is interlinked with other important
areas of Mathematics as well. He was President of the
Canadian Mathematical Society from 1994 to 1996. Of his
work, the Brown-Douglas-Fillmore Theorem is one of the
most important results in the area of Operator Algebras.
Published works: He has published
over thirty articles in journals as well as several monographs.
He has also edited many volumes on Operator Theory. |
