Science lecture |
| Delivering the lecture on 'Science and Society', Sir Michael
Atiyah, former president, Royal Society and fields Medalist
said, "Science helps to know the world around us. |
Science leads to curiosity driven research, as without curiosity
there would be no research." The lecture was organised
by Stephen's College and Mathematical Science Foundation (MSF)
in association with The British Council (BC), India on November
12 at college's auditorium.
Atiyah dwelt on different aspects of science which included
'What is Science', 'History of Science', 'Science and Religion',
'Negative Aspects', 'Roles in Society', 'Ethical Problems',
'Position of Scientists', and 'Future of Science'. |
