NEW DELHI, JULY 7. The Mathematical Sciences Foundation has launched two special programmes under its school initiative titled "SAHYOG". The two programmes comprise a Mathematical Resource Centre for all students and a Teacher Training Certification.
Under the Mathematical Resource Centre, a series of workshops will be held for teachers of Delhi schools at Vasant Valley School here. The workshops, aimed at empowering teachers, will begin on July 20. For students, the Mathematical Resource Centre will be held at The Indian School on J.B. Tito Marg here. The Centre will help students improve performance in examinations and for various competitions, create focus and discipline for studying Mathematics in a "natural and useful" manner, generate mathematical skills and accelerate learning through "hands on" practice and bring "confidence, insight and joy" into learning and develop communication skills.
