Help at hand for Delhi students

Anjlee Istwal

There is good news for students who are weak in mathematics. A helpline has been launched in Delhi for solving all their problems.
It's a novel idea for many students like Priyanka, who are getting ready to take their board exams and find mathematics especially difficult to deal with.
But now her queries about geometry, have been answered by the helpline.
"I was very scared earlier but I am fine now. They told me to be cool and keep my calm," said Priyanka.
The helpline, accessible over the phone and the internet is being run from Delhi's St. Stephens' college campus and includes college professors, researchers and even students enrolled in the masters programme.
Queries will be answered from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm for six days a week.
The phone has not stopped ringing at this helpline ever since it's launch and now with the board exams just round the corner, the helpline could very well become the lifeline for thousands of students.
